ABOUT

My Story

I'll be honest: I never liked working with consultants. They'd ask good questions, take thorough notes, and come back two weeks later with a polished deck that repackaged everything you'd already told them. No real insight. No skin in the game. Just your own thinking, gift-wrapped and billed by the hour.

So when I decided to consult, I made myself a promise: I'd never be that.

When I was building, I needed someone who'd already made the mistakes, knew the right people, and would roll up their sleeves alongside me. She didn't exist. Now she does.

I've spent 18 years as a founder, operator, and builder. Not studying business. Living it.

My first company, Paleo Scavenger, started the way most brands do: with a product I believed in and a lot of figuring it out as I went. By the time I exited via acquisition, we had $1M+ in revenue and products on shelves in 1,500+ retail locations across the country. I learned more about go-to-market strategy, channel development, and what actually moves product off a shelf in those years than any classroom could have taught me.

Then, I co-founded AQUA Cultured Foods, a fermentation-based alternative seafood company that didn't exist in any playbook. I raised $10M+, filed 19 patents, secured FDA regulatory approval, built a production facility, and landed placements in Michelin-starred restaurants including Alinea. I managed investor boards, navigated M&A processes, and executed all of it during one of the most difficult fundraising environments in recent memory.

Before becoming a founder, I spent a decade at Schreiber Foods in enterprise sales and commercial leadership, managing accounts ranging from $15M to $140M across QSR and retail grocery. That's where I learned how the other side of the table thinks: what buyers need, how large commercial relationships actually work, and what separates the brands that earn shelf space from the ones that don't.

THE FOUNDER ARC

Paleo Scavenger

$1M+ revenue, 1,500+ retail locations, exited via acquisition.

AQUA Cultured Foods

$10M+ raised, 19 patents, FDA approval, Michelin-starred placements.

I'm now working with founders and business owners across industries because the challenges I've lived: raising capital, building go-to-market from scratch, finding the right partners, scaling operations, making high-stakes decisions with incomplete information, aren't unique to food. They're the universal experience of building something real.

I've sat exactly where you're sitting: with something worth building, decisions that feel impossibly high-stakes, and the frustrating sense that most people offering advice have never actually done it.

I have. And I show up that way.

THE TRANSITION

I take on a small number of clients at a time, by design. When I'm in, I'm fully in. Not skimming your deck between other engagements, not delegating to a junior associate, not handing you a framework and wishing you luck. You get me. My experience, my network, my honest read on your business, and my willingness to roll up my sleeves and work alongside you.

That means investor introductions, yes; but also helping you sharpen the narrative before we make them. Go-to-market strategy, yes; but also the tactical plan for how to actually execute it. Network access, yes; because 18 years of building means I know the regulatory consultants, IP attorneys, investors, and operators who can change the trajectory of your business with a single conversation.

HOW I WORK

And then there's the AI layer.

I've built and deployed AI-powered tools for real businesses: sales agents, PR agents, investor research tools, booking and scheduling systems. I bring those capabilities into every engagement. It means I can move faster, go deeper, and make a bigger impact than a traditional consultant ever could. For clients who want it, I'll build custom tools for your business and stay on to manage them. You get the output of a full team without the overhead of hiring one.

I'll tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. If something isn't working, we'll say it out loud and figure out what to do about it. That's the deal.
